CT: Welcome to E-ZPass MA, Massachusetts Department of Transportation Electronic Toll Collection Program. E-ZPass is operational on the entire Massachusetts Turnpike including the Sumner and Ted Williams Tunnels, and on the Tobin Memorial Bridge. Where can I use E-ZPass?
E-ZPass provides customers with electronic toll collection through the use of a transponder. A transponder is a small electronic device that attaches to the inside of your windshield. As you pass through a designated lane, a green “Thank You” light will flash to verify your transaction is being approved and recorded to your account.

Probe vehicles are equipped with electronic tags that can track the vehicle’s speed, location, and travel time along roadways that have a tag reader infrastructure.
